Yeah. It's not totally unheard of. I have known a couple of people already who met on some online game and got hitched. The Gomaki situation is bizarre though because I am not aware of any other female idol, singer, actress or talent who met a guy this way. Even more bizarre that she got hooked to such a low status dude, but now it all starts making sense about who she was referring to in past interviews about her ex. She doesn't care about her boyfriend to be high status or even work. She will take care of him. Maki really is lonely. She just wants someone to listen and I guess she figured there weren't many people she could talk to about her domestic abuse and other problems.

Ayaya would also mention that about Maki. Maki is the type of person to call you late at night crying about something bad that happened to her. She doesn't talk to many people or have many close friends, but if you are her close friend she will unload whatever she's feeling or thinking about hoping you listen or care.
