it didn't work like that for me
i mean i could probably ギリギリ pass, but once i became able to play games and read and understand anime/music i lost the drive to grind to test. im missing a ton of n1 vocabulary and grammar and im in no hurry to look it up
will probably eventually but i don't feel the need to do so now and i feel like focusing on the test was counterproductive to my real interests (watching dogs play pokemon)
