I had gotten infatuated with how they look, to the point that I wanted to use an MMD model of one as an avatar for VRChat, but I once I had gotten my hands on the model, I wasn't quite satisfied with the tail movement, so I wanted to adjust it, but the model is quite simple and the tail would be the most complex thing about it, so I decided that I might as well just try making my own hakutaku model from the ground up.

After going through all the danbooru pages for them, I had collected 231 adorable images of them, but only half a dozen were actually suitable as references, which brings me to my first request:

1. Please post a frontal and side view image I could use as a reference.

I'm also not knowledgeable about Touhou and Japanese mythology, so I have a few questions about these critters:

As I've understood it, the critters are hakutakus and those are beings from Japanese mythology, and they originate from some alternate form of Keine in the game.
2. What does the "sukusuku" in the name stand for then?

3. How canonical are they? Did ZUN ever acknowledge them in this ball-form?

4. What is the tail supposed to look like? My reference says that it's supposed to look like a lion's.

5. What is their personality in the canon and "fanon" like?

6. How would it look like if it stood up? Kinda like a Longcat?

7. How would it talking look like, especially in regards to the mouth? What other characters would talk similar to them?

8. Is it supposed to have expressions other than (´･ω･`)?

9. How canonical are the versions that aren't the green-white ones with a ribbon? Can there be hakutakus of any character?

10. Keine is not my favourite Touhou, though she's cool, but the green hakutaku looks so pretty and I haven't found prettier ones. How can I resolve these conflicting feelings?

Also, while searching I was pleasantly surprised to find that Rebecca (also known as keinelove) drew lots of images of them. She's been one of my favourite fan artists, especially for the hakutakus and the Kaga "Let's sleep!" images. I'll post a lot of these images now.
