The gap between Gura and the rest has has gotten big enough that, and because, she became the "default" english vtuber. Half or more of the EOPs watching EN don't know anything to discern between vtubers. Early on curiosity gave them all a boost, but now that there's a clear lead choice they'll all be funneled into her instead, because popularity=quality in the mind of most people, and newfags heavily rely on having the biggest possible social environment to discuss and "get" the thing they're trying out. It's effectively the same thing as Fubuki sometimes being regarded as the newfag choice, but way more extreme because EN is new in its entirety. What this means is Gura is going to accelerate rather than decelerate, she basically benefits from all general interest in english vtubing from now on.

The first place deceleration/loss of interest will appear is in the ENs that fail to differentiate themselves from Gura as performers. Mori at the moment is the most extreme case, she was initially the runner-up but as things are going she's not far off from falling behind Kiara, who has the last place in total sub and viewcount, in growth. This is pretty absurd when you compare her viewcount to others and also compare Gura's stats with Kiara's, who has less than 1/4th the subs and less than half the views. Being more popular in past and present is a MASSIVE advantage in a fresh environment and struggling to maintain her lead despite having that shows that she's in a very major slump.

Ina is absolutely fucked if she can't do something soon. The current numbers show she failed to make a major impression over Kiara in the latest collab, as it's going it's only a matter of time before she slips into last on sub, view, and growth. Once that happens she'll be in complete freefall and be the first to die if EN popularity goes into a downturn. Kiara is a massive threat to her, being able to accelerate like this from the bottom is very difficult. This is despite her major technical problems, that are potentially short-term fixable, and largely due to her bilingual trait that cannot be easily copied by others. Especially with the visible growth Nene and the others got in EN collabs, Kiara's demand for Senpai collabs is assured, giving her a rock solid niche in Hololive.

The EOP audience is starting to show its inherent fickleness in these trends. They don't have the loyalty of a JP that has watched for multiple generations, or idolfags that truly participate in oshi culture, these are westerners that are watching out of novelty and have a fragile loyalty to any given girl. Kiara actually can be gauged as the looming executioner for her genmates. She's steadily growing despite having no viral advantage compared to the others, so falling behind her is a clear milestone for decline. Ina falling into last will basically consign her to complete irrelevance, Mori falling behind the former-last place will mark her complete fall from initial success, Ame falling behind Kiara will spell the decline of EN, and Gura somehow falling behind Kiara would mark the death of EN. In the next couple months or so when Ina falls behind Kiara, remember this post.
