does it not occur to some people that by regulating the bodies of women who don’t comfortably fit into the paradigm of whatever you choose to define as radical feminism is applying the modes of the patriarchy and the Puritannical “morality” we used to silence in this country, you’re just as bad as the people you claim to stand against?

until you’re out there fighting for the rights of all women, not just yourself, and you stop silencing women of color, trans* folk, disabled women and everyone in between, your feminism is moot. pointless. toxic. fucked beyond belief.

this is not to say that this is what i do, but i mostly don’t participate in this sphere because i find it extremely aggressive, problematic and violent toward women who don’t fall in line with this ideology and this fascist body-policing bullshit, or who are silenced by the loudest proclaimers of “justice” out there.

if your feminism gets its juice and drive from hatred and discrimination toward other women, you’re not a feminist. you’re doing the white cis patriarchy’s work for them. congratulations.
