Owarai world has so much to offer, there's stuff from traditional manzai, sketches and talkshows to oogiri, monomane and crazy variety projects. Just like with anything in this world, the majority is shit and you have to find the stuff that presonally appeals to you.

When considered the entertainment value on week to week basis, it's actually pretty low (mostly because of their new projects lately have been so boring and they end up doing the recycling same projects if they had even slight success) when compared to simple talk variety shows like Matsuko & Ariyoshi no Ikari Shintou.

Personally, I wish they would bring back Free Talks. There aren't many famous kombi who still do that sort of lazy manzai (the only one I'm following is Summers x Summers) which is really a shame. The best ドヤ顔 in all history is still Matsumoto's face at the end of his "curry should be spicy" argument.
