You better not be serious you ignorant doomposter. I'm sure NND is pretty fucking happy with the commissions on exclusive vtuber content sold on their site. And if they really felt threatened by youtube they would try to improve their platform to make it more attractive to talent agencies because relying on youtube is pretty risky for these guys considering how quickly google can fuck them over. And did you forget that hiro regularly streams on youtube? Why would he do that? The reality is that they're two different platforms serving various, non-overlapping needs.

The reasons why the official 4chan vtuber didn't go anywhere is because:
1) a popular design was axed, immediately killing the hype for the project
2) the winning design is objectively shit and wasn't designed by Anonymous
3) no one wanted to voice or rig the character for free
