You'll get used to it quickly if you just force yourself to do it, and once you do it makes typing a lot quicker. It's only weird to you because you learned shitty Hepburn romanization for brainlets instead of superior, logical Nihon-siki style.

Other things you're probably doing that you shouldn't be is typing ち as "chi" instead of "ti", and し as "shi" instead of "si".
