Saw a girl having a panic attack break down and cry in employee resource center.
Saw a guy pleading with a girl to hold out until at get more time off in January.
An entire team of 6 people just sat and watched me load boxes near death for hours without helping or doing anything of their own for entertainment like look at their phone or talk to each other.
I got this feeling that I was going to die so I leaned back and stared up and a maintenance guy 3 floors up dropped a wrench that bounced off a piece of metal right next to my head and got stopped by a net inches away from me.
I flinched and slowly limped away from my area, wandering around awhile.
Morale is low all around.
I have to train a new guy on an impossible task tomorrow.
There was an announcement on the screen with a picture of smiling Santa that said you can enter hourly associates going through hardship in for a chance to win a prize.
All today, dystopian feelings.
I know people have had to work much harder jobs and did fine but it is still unsettling to watch on a daily basis.
