For one, foxes have a huge presence beyond MGE.
Canines in general have the whole loyalty aspect that's a big appeal, you don't get that so much with cats. And canine behaviors in general.
Hellhounds exist. Cheshires used to be really big too but they kinda fell off, not sure why.

Oof, I feel you on a lot of that. You're not as much of a dirty misanthrope as I am, but I feel it. I probably bite my tongue more often than I speak, for fear of revealing how poor my general understanding of the world around me is.

I wouldn't know how to deal with it if I was paired up with someone who patiently and gently guided me through what she was saying, out of an honest desire to teach me something. Not right away. I'd have to learn a little more trust and self-respect to really appreciate a super-smart girl's charms. 'Takusplain' is a fantastic word for it, by the way.

I like to think I have some life experience most people my age don't, and I've done a couple of interesting things. If I could teach her something back once in a blue moon, and consistently make her happy, I'd be satisfied. And you're right, a faceful of titties would put the rest of my mind at ease.

For me it's all about teaching the kids to be independent and not reliant on the approval of others. The world we live in now where everyone's constantly gossiping and judging everything, and everything is recorded forever scares the shit out of me. I'd hate for a kid, especially a monster, to grow up that anxious and self-conscious, thinking everything is a big deal.

I think a lot of the appeal of monster girls is the freedom of spirit and individuality they show, a basic desire to do what they want and not feel bound by society to look or act a certain way while they do it. People are getting so uptight and everything so regimented, it feels like we're going back in time to before the sexual liberation of the 60s, when people were clamoring for the 1950s promise of the 'good life' in exchange for conformity. You're only allowed to be unique in a certain number of socially acceptable ways, or else you're excluded. There are still steps you have to take and people you have to win the approval of to be able to do anything.

I like that monster girls can wear their hearts on their sleeves, and be honest with what they want. I like the idea of love and affection being openly celebrated and actively sought out. I would never wish this repressed, demanding world of ours on a monster girl. It would destroy them.

It's a damn travesty that so many romantics in here with so much love in their hearts so often have nobody to share it with.
