What makes him an expert at anything?

At the end of the day, they don't play "idol music", they don't perform at idol festivals, they don't hang out with other idol groups, they don't appear on typical idol TV shows and webcasts, they don't force any cuteness, they don't have handshake events or interact with their fans like idols do, they don't do random TV commercials, and more importantly they don't identify as idols.

My biggest disappointment with RoR was that is was not kawaii enough and also not heavy enough. It was just so.....so....... Dragonforced, for lack of a better word.

For me, Babymetal should be both of those extremes from either genres, and not trying to play it safe in the middle of the road with powermetal sing-alongs.

Limp Bizkit's prime was the Chocolate Starfish days from 2000 onward, 99 was their rise in popularity for sure but they're more known for songs from that album than anything else, the record sales speak for themselves.

Linkin Park released their debut album just a week after Limp Bizkit's Chocolate Starfish and outsold them.

Also for Woodstock 99, their second album hadn't come out yet and no one remembers anything from their first album except the Faith cover. They were still behind Metallica and Rage Against the Machine, but ahead of Alanis Morisette just to put things in perspective.

Definitely nu-metal first, metal purists were already turning their noses down at stuff like Slipknot's self titled album, Korn, The Deftones and Rammstein before Limp Bizkit started rollin rollin rollin rollin

That's only ten years from now, and it took them nearly 5 years for them to produce an "album", so yeah I can see them sticking around for a couple more albums.

If anything I think we'll see them take breaks for the girls to finish school or maybe do side projects for their solo careers during that time, maybe have a Babymetal reunion tour at the rickety old age of 30.

Nothing really, it's the evolution of music scenes.

Korea stole j-pop and made it even more generic and whitewashed, so now Japan is going into a more alternative direction with stuff like Brand New Idol Society, Babymetal and so many others
