I wish there was a parallel universe in which Akane was my girlfriend... but there isn't. Even if there are infinite universes, there isn't one where Akane is my girlfriend. At least I can admit to myself that this is ok, that it's probably better that there isn't a single universe where she's my girlfriend because if there was, then I'd want to live in that universe and I couldn't so it's better to accept that there isn't. Even if there was, it'd be better if I didn't know that there is. And besides, there isn't... even if there somehow was one in which she WAS my girlfriend, she wouldn't be for long because I'm disgusting and she's way too far out of my league in every way. She's the perfect qt and I'm ugly and also have a horrible personality and probably autism of some kind even if it's not diagnosed. And I'd in essence disappear for weeks, leaving her all alone, so why would ANY girl want to be with me? The answer is they wouldn't, and don't. But it's ok as long as some things remain the way they are now and don't get worse.
