They make decent car with AWD for climates that benefit from it (e.g., snow). Boxer engines are kind of just okay, but overall they're not as reliable as Toyotas. They have a joint car with Toyota (and have more in the future). The BRZ is Subaru's version, and the Toyota 86 is Toyota's version. They are nearly identical except for the front bumper, and they use Subaru's boxer engine. It's a decent affordable sports car, which is a segment that is disappearing because of American's obsession with boring big Crossovers/SUVs. Europeans will be getting the Toyota 86 but not the BRZ.
