Anyway, it sounds less like Jack the Ripper's From Hell and more like a letter of apology to Mari's family if anyone is wondering. Note in that this and the other letter, Miyazaki uses the alias of Imada Yuuko, her fictional persona is a middle aged woman who apparently couldn't bear child due to a problem to the uterus but really wished to be close to children. So any reference to himself as a woman in both letters is to keep his real identity hidden.
