Honestly, I like the stuff you draw. It's cute, looks really good for just mostly being sketches, and your style suits it pretty well. If you're really worried about it, I'd say try adding a bit of definition to the facial features. The image you have there has a really round face and puffy cheeks that makes it look kind of like a kid, which might be the problem you're seeing. Female faces will have softer features but still need some definition to them.

At least, that what I see. But I'm not all too artistic myself, so what do I know?
