Your Honour if I may I will now lay proceedings of the case for The People of the Human Village versus one Kosuzu Motoori; curator of Suzunaan.

Your Honour, I'm sure you are highly familiar with the fragile nature of Human and Youkai relations in Gensokyo, and I've no doubt that I need not stress the dangers that are associated with an overpresence of Youkai in the Human Village and associated territories. What I come before you today to do is to shed light on such a situation, one which is unfolding almost daily under our very noses.

Today I am representing a number of clients, members of the community that make up the Human Village. And these members claim to have seen Ms. Motoori - through her establishment known as Suzunaan - hosting Youkai of various affiliations. Whether it be Tengu or Tanuki, dear members of the jury, I'm sure you understand the implications of these "visits". I might omit that any tip in the balance we hold so dear may spell the end for our peaceful lives and indeed for the peace of Gensokyo itself.

I call to the stand Anonymous, who claims to have seen both a local magician and what he believes to be a high ranking Tanuki convene on Suzunaan over the same time period.
