CVS Pharmacy. Most of the people I work with are well over 60 years old and either have no kids or they moved out a long time ago. It's like, what do they have to look forward to when they go home? Probably nothing. Their entire life is devoted to restocking disposable goods to be consumed by other mindless worker drones. I'm only working this job because I was stupid and disenchanted and left college for a year and went broke. I can't imagine working in that place for the rest of my life, even as a manager or whatever. The job is easy and the pay is great, but it bothers me a little that I'm getting paid for doing something that doesn't benefit humanity in some way. Next year I'm going back to college and not leaving until I have a degree of some kind. I still have my childish fantasy of making something of myself, something more than a cashier ape.
