Lately i've been feeling a bit more motivated than usual but I have this sense of dread for some reason that in 5 or so years I won't be where I want to be. Has anyone else felt this way? What did you do about it? I try to spend about 3 hours a day studying, but even so i'm worried I won't be able to do all the things I want to in a few years.

Anyone know where to find a plain text list of the jouyou kanji sorted by school year?

I found this which is almost exactly what I'm looking for but it's out of date (doesn't contain the changes following the 2010 revision):
http://nihongo.monash.edu/jouyoukanji.html

(preferably from some sort of authoritative source, such as a Japanese government website, so as to reduce the chance of it containing errors)

What are some phonetic parts of kanji that you've noticed?

I've picked up on:
章 = しょう (e.g. 障)
古 = こ (e.g. 固, 故)
Right side of 福 = ふく (e.g. 福, 輻, 副)

I'm sure there are others though.

Are there any parallel texts with audio besides those two readers in the CoR ("Read Real Japanese Fiction Short Stories by Contemporary Writers" and "Breaking into Japanese Literature")?
