Thats also what happened to me, kind of.
When I started I liked all characters, because they were cute and exagerated, and then I started to engage more with canon, and realized that 90% of the cast is gray at best.
Byakuren was one of my favorite characters for the longest time because I thought she was one of the few "good" characters in a land filled with jerks, and then I started to engage more with canon, paying attention to the mangas and the fighting games, and realized that shes just another jerk character, shes just good at hiding it, I still like her, but I definetly like her less than I used to, mind you, I never was sexually attracted to her, but still.
And then theres Youmu, my favorite character, who has been only recently that I started to internalize that shes a murderer and she doesnt particularly care about it.

Made a long reply in an argument and realized after posting that I forgot to finish a whole sentence. I closed out that thread and ignored any replies, this happens more often than I'd like. There was also a time in the gaming threads a few months back where we played rimjobworld, my character was a bit mentally unstable and touched someone else's 2wife inappropriately; it was not a good time for anyone for a bit.

I haven't been able to get era_clipboard to work on Pedy's so now sugoi is working retarded and its hard to play the untranslated content

i feel like this is bait but in the case it isnt its really funny that some small information you learn about a character can lead you into a lot of weird topics and facts about other characters and things about the world.
My favorite case for me was
