Anime is attractive because it depicts traits that are desirable in the real world taken to extremes- Flawless skin, lustrous eyes and hair, proportions which exaggerate traits of fertility such as breast size, and so on.

Albinism has no biological reason to be attractive in real life however, which is why I'm curious as to why it is exceedingly popular in anime.
