They might also have been more directed; instead of saying 'Oh, I better go youkai hunting again...goddamnit so annoying...' and taking out her frustrations on anyone who crosses her path, her ancestors might have been more like 'Okay, there's this really powerful youkai called Yuuka who is a menace to society, so we need to track her down and seal her away to prevent her from killing any more humans.' and then go out and defeat just that youkai and her cohort.

Hey /jp/ I've been bored the last couple of days and needed a new game to play, so I've decided to give Touhou a spin. You're supposed to be the resident experts on this, so I figured I'd ask you.

Which game should I start with and do you have any tips? I've seen some videos of people playing this and it looks hard as hell.

If that guy who drew "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" did the drawing for Touhou, how would the world of Touhou be?

Incorrect the touhou anime would be rife with beam spams, power levels and absurdly strong attacks. Sorta like DBZ + Sailormoon + Nanoha + Shrnie maidens + Card captors sakura. I'd not have it anyother way.
