Because she's the coolest. Her elaborate cape, her attacking motions, her entrance and win poses in VS mode, even the simple act of moving towards her opponent she does with a perfect air of smug confidence and bravado that surpasses even Miko's. She's cool, she knows it and she isn't afraid of showing it off. It speaks to me. And this charm is enhanced by those moments where you can see the dorky flying teenager underneath (her time-out animation, and some other of her motions, which show just how much fun she's having throwing stuff at people). It helps that she's so pretty. I think she's beautiful. And while her personality is certainly a bit rotten (the first chapter of new CoLA exposed some hypocrisy from her part, for instance), you're still left with a smart, very hardworking girl whose pursuit of knowledge doesn't appear to have an end.

I enjoy her style of slow-but-powerful attacks in ULiL. It feels very satisfying to bash someone's head in with that street sign. And while there's not much I can say about her other player-character spellcards, Gun Sign "3D Printer Gun" is a delight for me just for the sheer audacity of it. Why not, just bring a gun to a danmaku fight. The ability of telekinesis is a favorite superpower of mine, which gives her plenty more points in my book. And her theme is fantastic, one of the best songs in the entire franchise in my opinion.

Sucks that she isn't more popular but I suppose it's understandable. After all, her design makes full use of her status as an outsider to create someone that is just that - an outsider, someone who doesn't belong.
