I have now completed episode 4 of the kinetic visual novel known as Umineko no Naku Koro ni. I enjoyed it a lot but unfortunately best girl Ange didn't get to interact with the game very much and it doesn't seem like she will be anytime soon. Big shame because she was way smarter than Battler and her story of having no friends and hiding in a bathroom from bullies until she wanted to jump off of a tall building was more relatable to me.
I've been told that by the end of episode 4 you have enough information to "solve" the mystery. Does "solving" mean finding a non-magic explanation for the events of all four episodes individually, or do I have to make a unified theory that explains everything? I feel like it's just going to come down to wordplay on the number of people by saying shit like "Kanon is actually furniture, not a person" and "Jessica is two people because she turns into Jessie when she goes to school". But if it really is possible for me to solve it at this point I will make sure to post my theories here for you all to laugh at.
