Anon, as oomf says, "life is the enemy" ahah, and this is real, most of the times life is just struggles. I said these are my best years so far, but ofc there are moments where I feel really bad too.
What I want you to say is to not care that much about what society says, and that is never too late to work on yourself and make things better. In a few years you can even change your life drastically. If you can't do it alone, find someone who's gonna help you on your real life struggles. If you think it's "too late", think are never gonna change and is just gonna get worse, and that's a big mistake.
Also, don't take things that seriously, you should live the life the way you want and makes you feel better, not what others expect from you. :)
