Michael Hampton's Analytical Figure Drawing. He uses iconical generalizations of anatomy and a generic drawing style with the explicit purpose of letting you adapt it to any style you fancy. Also, from what I've heard, Will Weston may help you out as well. But I've never studied anything from him, so I can't stand by it.

Seen a lot of misinformation about what happened so I'll try to sum it up to the best of my knowledge.

There were multiple anons sharing courses they bought and reuploading stuff from the private trackers. Every now and then a link would go down due to a DMCA. Others would just mirror it so it was fine. One guy compiles most of it into one big mega, about 2TB or so. Posted with a batman image, so people refer to him as batman and the mega as the batman mega. This made the other anons sharing and mirroring less active. All of this attracted outsiders since the archives show up on google. Most of them were leeches and beggars so the overall quality of the thread took a nose dive. The biggest hoarders are already on the private tracker so they don't really need to share anything. Also, a lot of the mega stuff got included in the /ic/ torrent so that's enough for most people.

The mega link got reposted all over the place, including facebook, so naturally it got hit with DMCA reports. So now when he reshares it only leave it up for a while before he'd take it down himself so he doesn't get banned. By now the mega is 3.8TB or so. He has come back multiple times with months in between. Last time I saw him was a couple months ago.

Throughout this someone with a bot scraped every mega link it could find on the archives and DMCA them all with throwaway emails. Multiple boards got hit so they weren't targeting us specifically I think. So now people encode the links.

I want to get to a point where as soon as I draw a single basic form on a page, I can intuitively know the exact distance between the subject and where the camera is. Erik Olson doesn't teach this. (Unless you want to draw the entire frame diagram every single time you try to do something).

Hey guys, I remember there was a Doxy-Onta speed process video called "Bikini Kemono". Seems like Coloso is trowing noodles to wall hoping one will stick. They attempted 10 day timed versions of their classes for a few bucks less than the price, that failed. Then they tried "flash sales" but only for classes that aren't obviously selling and that failed. Then they tried getting over westerners that already have classes on Class101 and that failed. Then they tried more expensive package bundles and nobody is buying them. Then they tried mini courses and nobody is buying it. And now it's "class+" and whoever came up with that needs to be fired. Marco Bucci and ModernDayJames have basic level videos on youtube and Marco has a somewhat compreheensive course in two parts. For real basic stuff on Photoshop etc, but also covering digital painting, CTRL+Paint is quite good as well.

I don't think anybody could really tell you yet. You're supposed to actually do the exercises, which is going to take some time. So far I really like it, since I've been in a drawing slump and it gives you clear directions on what to do and why.

Looked through the torrent and I really like regularly practicing along with Michael Hampton but am curious if there's anything more pertaining to cartoon character construction, particularly Looney Tunes-esque. I recently bought Preston Blair's Cartoon Animation book and it essentially has everything you need for creating the mid century Disney/Warner Bros stylized characters but it would be fun if there was a similar course video in the torrent anyone could recommend to go along with.
