God OP this is so gay. I gave Cara a chance months ago, it's a dead fucking app. No one interacts with anything, it's full of artists that all just want their ego stroked. There's tons of these sites out there. If you like Cara so much check out Artgram, it's the same fucking shit. These types of sites will never gain traction because you need normies for that. The only reason deviantart did so well in the past was because it was the only place to go for art and fandoms. Tumblr, reddit, etc. weren't a thing yet. So yes literal normies made accounts on there too, they added shit to faves and their galleries were full of pics of their food and pets. Everyone seems to forget that's how it always was.
