of course, to git gud you need proper ligaments, finger size and width to hold the stylus properly, latest adobe photoshop with kyle's brushes, a wacom cintique 32feet + drawing gloves, a 4k 144hz screen for realistic feedback and references, a taiwanese girl(boy) to make you ramen, and a sad backstory to share on internet forums for upvotes when you fail to draw a tit.
loomis has 5 books of decent knowledge, he doesn't go super in depth on anatomy or composition or perspective etc.

This is retarded. Manga artists do know and grind anatomy, but their output is so high volume that they can’t go back and correct every mistake. There are also assistants involved who are usually good draftsmen but they won’t exactly interpret a layout correctly. Sometimes mistakes will be corrected for tankobon releases.

this, not limited to Manga, one of the reason why comic takes notoriously longer for a issue to be released. Either you find a shorthand style that fit to your nature, or die trying to get overly detailed. Even Moebius and Miyazaki have their own shorthand style, they were never into realism deeply because it just take too much effort and time.
