5148279 No.5148279 [Reply] [Original]

Finished my 90 day grind. My main focus was on drawing figures. Anatomy and form. Obviously faces/head is trash. But I haven't drawn faces at all, that's to be expected. That is my next thing I'm going to hyper focus on.
Tips and feedback?

Cool progress for 3m anon, but before focusing on the head, follow this:

Make the body connect better, the legs look like from another drawing

Learn proportions

And keep on the good work and you will evolve a lot, anon.

Was your original attempt there intended on having unnatural or loli proportions? Your proporrtions for the second one there is a huge improvement if so, and I can see you're beginning to feel the form

follow a better book next time to be done with figure drawing in 2 weeks instead

Nope. That was not intentional. My proportions were a mess. These were drawn from the same reference.

That's not how this works.

The progress is sideways. Both show total lack of construction/anatomy/proportion/perspective knowledge. Back to the fundies with you, off you go.

the angle of the hips still don't seem natural on this pose, but your proportions are better now

Anon, just keep practicing. Mileage is king.

300+ hours is more than enough for anime figure

Huge improvement, I love seeing people get better.
Torso is a little long and you need to work on hands and feet more. You need to work more on understanding fabrics and how they fold. You should have drawn in the face. Even though the hair is still a sketch it still looks pretty novice as well.

But thats still pretty good improvement keep it up!!

Can you rotate a box/cylinder at any angle?
Dont worry about anatomy if you can't even draw this, it's a waste of time

Yeah those are all areas I know i'm weak in, It just takes time to practice each one. But i'm gonna to keep going!
>>5148402
I've been drawing the figure in various poses like this, But I'll try breaking it down to just the basic forms like this.

Studying two anime artists might make you improve faster and you're not stuck in one style like everyone who want to shortcut through learning cartoons and anime.

Why two?
