literally stop playing it. I spent at most 7 years years playing league, since 2013 (in between "i am never touching it again" then going back into playing it. I stopped after season 10.

But I have to say this, its not worth YOUR TIME.

I started playing it as a senior in highschool with IRL friends who then became even more addicted to it then I did. I sincerely regret playing it during my college years, I even played during some lectures btw, that's how bad it was for me. I could've done better in my courses if i just paid attention and didn't play league at all, im not a shit student, I did so out of laziness. After graduating college I stopped playing league in 2018 because I didn't like the Aatrox update, and I preferred other forms of entertainment.

Then, I played it again in 2019, when I began grad school, only to find that I actually was more responsible with the game and logical with my time. I also seemed to perform better at the game, but I would now spend $20 every other patch for their new battle passes or whatever. It was not until 2020, when I realized, "Yeah I need to stop playing this game." I lost my friends to league who stopped talking to me when college started only to sink themselves further into just playing league. So I decided at the end of season 10, i'm done, and im glad i did. I ended graduating grad school December 2020 with a 4.0 and honor society, which I never earned both until I stopped being lazy and used my time effectively and efficiently. I look back though, I wish I never spent 1,600$ on league throughout the time spent playing it, I wish I never played it with my longgonefriends, and generally, I wish I didn't play the game. I was literally LITERALLY given a second chance to do things for grad school and my final two semesters when I was an undergrad, right, and I legit put myself first and ended my education with highest distinction. Not playing league is sincerely the BEST thing you can do for yourself.
