to be able to get all that crazy scenery from the mind onto the canvas with high precision

because theres nobody who does that, not that I know of at least...
I really would like to see an artist who does dream art

Me.

I drew a woman I saw in my dreams earlier this year, pic related.

I will draw her again before the year ends because I've seen her several times. Also I can lucid dream.

I remember back when Oleg started doing the "Light frfom the camera" look, frustrated me a little because i had already been doing that for a while. His stuff is beyond amazing tho.

Anyone have the name of the artist?
Reverse image search shows dead-end results

>> No.4966625

H.R.Giger did.

Not me though. Most of my nightmares feature zombies, which I have never been interested in, or visually mundane things like disasters, earthquakes, etc.

Nothing that would be any more visually interesting than what my waking self can come up with.

Yeah my dreams aren't visually captivating either, not according to my taste in fictional media anyway. It's mostly exaggerated drama and environments. But I hate drawing landscape. I hate painting. I hate taking the time to contemplate my dreams upon waking.

Zdzisław Beksiński (Good pronouncing that, fellow Anons and OP) I effing love this guy, one of my favorite artists of all time, up there with Leonardo Da Vinci. He even tried making digital artwork but the medium was too far underdeveloped back then for his incredible skills.
