In most cases they will find you and if they don't it means you're not there yet.

Go directly to the people you want to work for, and pitch your portfolio to them to be considered for future freelancing opportunities. It really is that simple, but most people don't do it because it's scary and time-consuming. But this is the most important thing that you can do that's totally in your control.

Don't be like >>4749977, expecting opportunities to just fall into your lap. Don't sit around twiddling your thumbs waiting to be 'discovered'. Take things into your own hands and promote yourself directly to those who can best use what you've got.

Lel enjoy drawing dogs eating and kids with cancer and brown people doing taxes and traffic jams.
I'd rather be a toilet cleaner.

Start by looking into your local listings on places like LinkedIn. If you don’t have a profile already, I suggest you make one. You can also google for any open positions again in your area/town. Sometimes you will see listings that are outside your country but it allows remote work, especially in these times with the coronavirus. Apply to as many as you can but do your research and check your skills and see if they measure up to what they may need. (Don’t apply to positions that require 3D if you don’t know how to use 3D programs. Just basic retard filters.)

If you send out enough applications, LinkedIn will boost your profile and have you noticed by other companies who are looking to hire someone. I’ve had offers this way and had 3 full time positions.
