I mostly recommend using life reference and practice different techniques to find whats right for you. I don’t have a source of “Guaranteed Books that’ll teach you how to draw”, You’ll just need to put in the mileage and effort.

I could recommend Vilppu and Loomis like everyone else and tell you to check out Life/Gesture drawing videos to get an idea of the techniques that come into method when drawing.

This could help and it has tonnes of reference and blogs you can check out.

Don’t expect it to be an easy ride, Keep your head up and keep doing what you love. You may feel compelled to compare yourself to others, but you should honestly work on your own strengths and iron out your own flaws. You’ll find yourself surpassing your own favourite artists in your own area. Even crazy amazing artists have areas they have trouble with, it’s all about understanding you have trouble in that area and working to fix it.

Mileage. Thats the Key word. You WILL now and then reach a plateau, you WILL get blocks, you WILL feel envy for your peers, but don’t let that stop you from wanting to grow.

At most what we do know is that himself Mode claimed he is mulatto, which would also explain why most of his early main characters have varieties of brown skin. But as far as I know he never ever posted nay pictures of himself in real life, for obvious reasons I am sure.

Eigaka and a few others I follow clearly took inspiration from Gloss to the point all of these artists even copy the same exact line style. It's clear as day too when they went from their "original style" to the gloss style when you compare it. Despite that I like that style myself, but I'm not going to pretend that was always my style.
