I absolutely love this mange, I spend a solid month trying to find some sort of story (novel/manga/anime/whatever) that really showcased an artist's journey for motivation, and this was the one. The artwork itself definitely is pretty average, but the story telling more than makes up for it. I'm buying the entire physical set once they're all out in english.

No one is going to hold your hand and tell you what to draw, unless you already paid someone to do with for you. If cant figure that of your own then you never love draw in the first, place you just to be good for the sake of being good and not work for it. "Just draw" does help with procrastination, you're making yourself do something productive. "Just draw" does mean you'll improve if you're applying yourself and striving for improvement, which you should be.
Your last point is the only semi-correct one, marketing is indeed a whole other skillset. However, how are artist suppose to network and search for money opportunities with no or weak portfolios? The first step to artist marketing is still... "just draw". Make a strong portfolio. After that you can worry about marketting/business.
