The only types of posts that I'd consider truly ngmi are the people who literally say they're quitting, and the people with those horrendous progress pics where they still draw like /beg/s after 6+ years.
I could make fun of certain archetypes on this board who I dislike, but honestly I think there are many paths to making it and as long as you're working hard and improving then I think things will work out.

That in itseelf is a very problematic question since it demonstrates a completely wrong way of thinking.

First of all focuasing on the tool is fucking pointless, but the first thing a beginner does is looking for the biggest fucking brushpack and get's lost playing with too many tools rather than focusing on the work.

Second of all it shows that you're looking for a beter tool, hack, guide or a shortcut to make a better art, rather than looking for a better yourself.

Getting lost in that thought process leads you to 5 minute tutorials.

I did this with a flower in a how to draw book, after tracing it nonstop I could free hand draw it.

Nah, I haven't posted anything in a while and I don't think you commented on them in the past. I would have noticed.

Why so butthurt tho? I didn't trash your stuff. I just told you the truth. People don't like you because of your skills. They like the subject matter. It's always been like this with fetish fandoms.

Great. Now draw that same kind of flower from a different view. Good luck, retard.

Can you draw something else though?
Can you draw a fit girl using a ref of a male bodybuilder in a different pose?

Or are you going to memorize every possible pose from every possible angle?
This is a crutch and the more you rely on it the harder you depend on it.

Using reference isn't about dumb tracing and replication, it's about looking at one picture to make another, like checking the muscle details on ripped guys and applying it to slim girls. That's the actual reference.
