Don't lose sight, anon.

Not relying on reference is an arbitrary goal and skillset, one that happens to greatly broaden your versatility. Anatomy is just a way to increase the fidelity of your details. These things are nothing but tools to help you express yourself. What matters is in your heart and mind. Keep training, but don't lose sight.

Beg question:I want to learn to draw so I can draw the things I love.Is drawabox good as long as I do some fun drawing in between so I'm not just grinding boxes?

I want to be better at construction because,whenever I look at the refrence,I just end up looking at the outline and want to learn how to deconstruct a refrence so my art looks better
