People who grind boxes become good at drawing boxes. Once you're comfortable enough with it you move on to the next thing.
Perspective, limbs, the entire human figure, head, values, colors,... And most important of all, DO FINISHED PIECES. Even if it's hot trash.
Move the fuck out of your comfort zone. Da Vinci didn't pull the Mona Lisa out of his ass after drawing 200000 boxes, he did sketch after sketch and painting after painting for years to get to that point.
