Why did it disappear?

Anyway, I am glad it did. I used to get in petty arguments all the time with the bitchfest that was the user base there. It didn't help that I posted some revealing shit about myself that made me doxxable, and when I dropped off that website I stayed low while picking up a new identity. I was hoping that the website disappears one day so I become untraceable, and I am glad it did.

They really weren't that great, you've got nostalgia. Art you see online now is above and beyond what was posted in those sketchbooks.

The nice advantage about the sketchbooks though is that you get to see the full progress of how the artist got to the skill levels they're at over the years. You got to see their good and bad drawings.

A lot of good artists on social media only uploads their best work. They never upload the drawings that failed like in the CA sketchbooks.

Plenty of artists upload drawings that fail every day. Seeing one person's failures isn't different than seeing many people's failures. A lot of the art is very dated and even those that "made it" don't have great art to look at or learn from. Tremendously overrated artists.
