Something I'm working on for a video game.
It's modular, so the hair, face, dick, ect can all be interchanged and recolored to allow it to function for multiple characters, which is why the view is so bland. Makes it a lot easier to deal with for my tiny brain.

Anything look plain bad about this? I am not really happy about Ravens hand, but i'm not sure where else i can place her arm. If i move it down it blocks both of their tits or it breaks the curve of Ravens back. Starfire's hair is going to just be stupid hard to pull off, but i really wanted a lighting dynamic between the fire on one side and the green power glow on the other.

working out multi-figure compositions. this didn't work out the way I had initially imagined. Different limitations just comes up as you add to them, certain things probably couldn't occupy the same space for example, but I wonder if I can get away with it since its 2D.

Generally this is where I start considering using something like design doll to figure out how the figure should intersect with each other. I should really accept that I won't be able to show everything in a single image. Line weight is something that I would work on once the pose has firmed up. Although to a lot of time these kind of thing isn't always workable so I might try doing something different.

Torso is too small. Stomach looks like it mostly doesn't exist. Right calf is too high up. The big gap by the first toe on the right foot is also messing up the entire perspective of the foot.

The style of the face and colors is cool, but it isn't very sexy, so if you're trying to draw strict smut it could be an issue.

I just did this for the aco drawthread and used their ref so Im not worried about the lineart - just the coloring. I need another pair of eyes to help me pinpoint exactly why the colors arnt working. I tried to add more highlights but it made the skin look too bothered and unnatural. Im going for something easy on the eyes.

Other images that are colored like mine but better would be much appreciated, thanks for any imput in advance

It is nice that you finished your drawing to the end despite your low skill level. Although your drawing seems too tasteful to be considered pornographic. Anyway, my suggestion to you would be to observe and practice the shapes of the muscles. The male figure is not too bad but the female figure's muscles look like ovals linked together. I know a lot of artists do not put much emphasis on female muscles but they have them too. You don't have to render them too much but keep the shapes in mind when drawing the female figure.

Alright i tried to fix a few of the things. I just can't really find a good spot to place the arm and hand. If i put the hand on the other girls neck it blocks part of her face and both their tits. Putting it on the waist is about the best compromise i could think of. The only other option is to have the hand foreshortened toward the viewer doing a power effect or something.

Thats because they are 3D renders. He seems to use some sort of toon shader and something that renders an outline or he may outline it by hand it's hard to say. It's not bad for what it is and it takes a decent amount of knowledge to make the bodies look good and have a sense of weight. Most daz renders are of a bimbo just standing there doing nothing.

Like so? Coloring the lines made a good difference but I think they were already pretty easy to differentiate from the colors I used. In fact they kind of look too dark to me.
Also made the lines a bit thinner, and that did help, though maybe I should've made the change more extreme.

So I've mostly just had experience with drawing traditional with pencils but I am moving into digital illustration. How can I learn to render my art in color and digitally? I can definitely tell that my color is bad and my shading is bad but I'm not sure why.

Some people use design doll or something similar to just get a base for their drawing. I'm not saying that their stuff is bad, or even that they shouldn't be doing it. They seem to be pretty popular so apparently it works, but they aren't just rendering a scene and then posting it. They have to do alot of post work to get it to a state where it doesn't just look like a straight render and in order to do that they have to have some decent skill beyond using 3D. Evul is actually pretty good at painting and has fantastic backgrounds. The only real nitpick i have with him and others is they don't vary the faces and bodies. They just reuse the same ones again and again so it ends up looking like the same person with different hair and clothes. 3D isn't a magical art bullet, it can either help you or become a crutch.

You are taking small contours and outlining them in black, black is for hard shadows not soft contours. You can approach this by having more varied line weight if you like black, oryou can actually learn to shade. Even if the shading is flat colors, with defined edges it will look good given the style. In regards to caricature it looks fine but the linework is bad.

The neck doesnt make sense at all though. You are drawing the Trapezius as if it doesnt connect at the neck. It looks like a tumor.

Fixed some things about it. Huge eyes is a mistake a lot of beginner artists make. You want those eyes at least an eye width apart. Also fixed some other issues that you need to figure out for yourself by studying real human anatomy.
