The true NPCs are the ones who can't comprehend that Loomis books are neither the ultimate way to learn drawing nor a complete meme. They're just decent drawing books from more than half a century ago that became the basis for many approaches to drawing down the line and may still be worth checking out for beginners even today.

No offense if you like her, but great skills in what? Drawing figures with shit proportions, gaudy colors, uncanny blurry samefaces and inexistant backgrounds? In rendering smooth textures with light sources out the ass? Sakimi is intermediate, heaps and bounds above /ic/ in general but still too very flawed to be called good. I admire her work ethic and she's smart about the way she market her stuff but her art clearly is still lacking. Go check Artstation or Pixiv and you'll find hundreds of artists with better rendering/anatomical skills who can stylize things better than she does.

There are logical reasons for replying with Loomis and PYW, and those explanations tend to come in the same threads when a crab tries to pretend these are mindless when they're not. Most problems in drawing are solved by studying from any basic book with more attention than just taking a simple look at them, and PYW is a good way to remove from the equation all out assholes who want to take shots at people anonymously without any benefit to the person.
