Does anyone have an artist that draws really appealing/attractive faces that looks somewhat modern and semi-realistic? Please not Loomis / Hampton, as much as I appreciate studying classic construction those faces are ugly as fuck.

Personally, I think Loomis's face is one of the sexiest in term of realistic style (it's just his drawings in the book are not heavily rendered). And what's sexy or not depends on your taste. I find anime style most appealing. Most artist do that style now go with anime features (bigger eyes, small nose...) and realistic render. But their faces are always kind of the same. May be because of those how to draw manga/anime books.

So if you already known construction, you should find images of the face that you like, analize those features (what make them sexy) and copy study them. Then find some face you don't feel sexy, paint over, try to make them sexy with minimal changes as posible.
For the book, I don't think there's much. I only find 2 kind: one is realistic construction/proportion (like Loomis), and other is anime style.

To assume US Americans aren't poor is a big understatement considering a large majority of them are mostly working class, students drowning in debt, or NEETS. There is also that minority that CAN actually afford an art education despite how criminally expensive it is. There are more financially stable Americans, but a majority are part of a workforce barley making ends meet.

As for Central and South Americans, access to guud books isn't really a convenient commodity for certain regions, some which leads them to rely heavily on pirating which leads them to hole in the walls like these.

You forget, we're all mostly artist. I can't and won't defend NEETS who can't help themselves except for those trying to help them, but whether we're starving or not, and technical demographics are its own topic for its own thread.
