I don't understand what you mean by "bloobs" The one beginner exercise Loomis explains in FWAP to get used to construction? What on earth makes you think you should stop at the very first beginner exercise, thinking that's what'll make you good at drawing realistic heads and figures, when Loomis has a whole different book dedicated to drawing realistic heads and figures, you fucking retard?

I don't get how the blooks(what i meant by bloobs my bad) gets you to a place that understands and can do the other basic constructions. I've never seen anyone do the blooks and then advance to a decent level. Why hasn't anyone ever posted that small transition from blook to decent.

I don't get when Loomis became the boss nigga name. It was just "here's how you draw faces" when I was in art elementary school.

>> No.3577457

Loomis teaches construction

Construction means that all forms, (people, animals, nature etc) are made up of simple 3D shapes (spheres, cubes, etc)

Spheres, cubes, etc are the 'basic skeleton' of a drawing

Then you add detail to them.

Cartoons are simpler than realistic anatomical drawings.
If you want to learn to draw realistic people, you should still study Fun With A Pencil first before reading Loomis' other books.

You can improve OP if you practice drawing circles and figure 8.
Good circles make good spheres.
Your lines will improve, your confidence will improve and you'll have more elegant, better drawings.
