Not familiar with the artist, but many artist have wonky perspective and bad anatomy and it works because as a whole the image "looks right". IMO this is more important than perfect anatomy/lighting/perspective that many people on this thread are obsessed with. This obsession can sometimes kill a work.

There is a huge gap between the ribcage and hips in the girl in the OP picture, both of the tibia (lower leg) in the second picture are bent/broken, and the right leg in the third picture is also deformed.

The artists work is jagged as fuck when it comes to drawing adults. It's obvious what his problem is. He spent most of his time mastering how to draw everything except people. He has a preference to creatures and backgrounds.

That’s probably it, but there are still mistakes that are obviously intentionally made. Oh and by the way I’ve seen conflicting things about whether or not posuka demizu is male or female, the amazon site for the Pone artbook says “his” but there’s literally a youtube video showing her drawing and it was definitely a woman.

None of this are wonky perspective, it's simply exaggerated perspective to push the composition and gesture. If there's artists at this skill level posting on /ic/, people do will go batshit crazy. That is because of the exemplary display of powerful technical skills meeting a very distinctive style of playing with shape design.

If you're trying to excuse yourself from people pointing out mistakes on your work by comparing it to Posuka, don't even kid yourself.

I always thought Demizu Posuka was an illustrator or concept artist or whatever. How the fuck can she do a weekly manga in shounen jump AND do all these other drawings in her free time? She posts a new drawing on her twitter every single day. Granted some of it is older work that I've seen before, but Is it all backlog work from before she started the manga or is she just this freaky of a drawing machine?

The only “wonky anatomy” is the standard animu symbol drawing in the head and neck, specifically the face floating on the skull, the ears, and the head-neck connection, all of which are a conscious decision.
