INTJ here, this is surprisingly accurate.

Also, I used to really like this girl who was ENFP, supposedly, INTJs and ENFPs really aren't liked all that much by others, but somehow make a good match for each other.

Dunno how accurate that is, but I have generally always liked more 'genki' girls who are a bit aimless and aloof.

Art isn't about logic or analysis. It's about emotion. Creativity comes from being able to communicate raw feelings with your creations. Art also requires you're a visual thinker.

So sure, you can learn the craft and be skilled at drawing, but you'll run into the problem of not knowing what to draw, and your designs/pieces feeling uninspired or overly derivative.

I'm an INTP too. When I began I naturally tended to study and think about art rather than actually doing it, but I cultivated a habit to prioritize drawing so the balance works out pretty well now.

My experience as a human is that there definitely are types of people. Some are introvert and logical, some are spontaneous and emotional, some are organized and bitchy etc.

I think there is potential for very specific correlations in behavior in different "types" of people. In the near future, big data will reveal these correlations and patterns in a revolutionary way, in my opinion. Facebook and google probably know things already that would be considered quantum leaps in many fields of human behavior.

Very few things can be categorized definitively, but we have to be satisfied with rough categorizations in order to function in the world. If we refuse to categorize anything, we are lost without any picture of reality. So, if I want to talk about people's personalities in a general way, I sometimes use Big 5 (Reflect on how you'd describe someone you know, you're basically using Big 5 or MBTI without knowing it anyways, most of the ways you describe them are covered by these tools, you're just using different terms and drawing from personal experiece instead of statistics.) because it is the most scientifically valid thing we have thus far. It's not super accurate science, but it's something. As long as we use these tools knowing that they aren't perfect, I don't see how it isn't better than... I don't know, whatever you do.. not thinking about it at all I guess? Ugh, it isn't even definitive, the scores exist on a continuum ffs.

>>3380539

Got ISTP too, weird. Think I got ISFP before? Been too long.

These sort of test are bound to be inaccurate with the approach of letting respondents to go neutral on questionnaires so I have my doubts about correctness of the results, plus it looks way to akin to horoscopes which are complete BS with their overly generic description of a person.

>i cant look at a reference pose and say yeah this is how itll look like in a 3/4ths overhead, i can barely even imagine 3d shapes in my head, much less something as complex as that

Yeah, 3D visualisation is a bitch. Was a lot easier to do when I was a kid, these days I can hardly can maintain even a still image from memory, making something up from scratch is hard as fuck.Or rather keeping it my mind longer then split second. Although I don't think that visualisation that I do\did ever was truly an image per se.

>i draw in the most autistic way possible because its the only way that makes sense for me (just regurtitated strokes since ive done it before, no construction, blockin or loomis balls)

It's alright, construction doesn't really fit for starting a concept or anything. First you need at least some idea what you are trying to do and then refine it with application of construction and such. Study more so you could use it all as a tool rather it being an obstruction to your goal.

Anyway this thread is autistic and I'm being a tard. Good thing I'm anonymous and nobody cares.

I can understand personality traits without thinking of someone as a kind of person given a four-letter signifier that's been further sorted into its own group. Nevermind, that poll doesn't look legit. But you can look up others to find the same thing. Introverts and intuitives gravitate towards 4chan. So the most common types are INTP, INTJ, ISTP, ENTP and INFP. I imagine there are many NFs here on /ic/.

I'm sure this has all been dissected ad nauseam all over the place, but basically, these types have a tendency towards isolation, a thrist for information, a fascination with theories that explain the world and seeing, discussing, and analyzing these theories, and patterns (even when they don't mean anything). Also, self involvedness/heavy introspection.

So the type theory satisfies the search for meaning, and introspection, while the internet provides and endless pool of info and a poor, but low risk solution for the isolation. Also, 4chan is a fringe community, and these types tend to be independent-minded.

But there are a fair number of Feelers and Extroverts here on ic because of the artsy bias. Also, for the same reasons as above, the intps and intjs are participating more in this thread, making multiple posts instead of just posting their type and leaving, so they appear more numerous than they actually are.

It's like the infp is lost at sea (sea of emotions) and the intp with the anchor in thinking function, provides a clarity that the infp desperately needs. >I have been making no mere joke, no facetious sophism or paradoxical proposition. I assert that the judgment of identity depends on conceptions, never on mere perceptions and complexes of perceptions, and the conceptions, as logical conceptions, are independent of time, retaining their constancy, whether I, as a psychological entity, think them constant or not. . . .

>I have already shown that the continuous memory is the vanquisher of time, and, indeed, is necessary even for the idea of time to be formed. And so the continuous memory is the psychological expression of the logical proposition of identity. The absolute woman, in whom memory is absent, cannot take the proposition of identity, or its contradictory, or the exclusion of the alternative, as axiomatic.

>Besides these three conditions of logical thought, the fourth condition, the containing of the conclusion in the major premise, is possible only through memory. That proposition is the groundwork of the syllogism. The premises psychologically precede the conclusion, and must be retained by the thinking person whilst the minor premiss applies the law of identity or of non-identity. The grounds for the conclusion must lie in the past. And for this reason continuity which dominates the mental processes of man is bound up with causality. Every psychological application of the relation of a conclusion to its premisses implies the continuity of memory to guarantee the identity of the propositions. As woman has no continuous memory she can have no principium rationis sufficientis.

>And so it appears that woman is without logic.
