good alternatives to paint tool sai?
it won't open on my pc anymore for whatever reason, and kirta and csp are too laggy.

Medibang is the best alternative that's almost as lightweight as Sai. It has more features than Sai too.

One of my favorite Medibang artists

i may try out medibang later, though i'm loving the feel of krita so far

MS painting should be sufficient for your art.

Or you could use sai2.

I use both Medibang and Krita. I like using Krita for paintings and Medibang for comics. If your're ever want to make comics, Medibang's comic/manga creation tools are pretty amazing. Also Medibang handles extremly high resolutions a lot better than Krita whole using less memory.

But I still like using Krita for paintings because I like Krita's interface and brush engine more. Also I like how I can import into Krita the tons of Photoshop/gimp color palletes that people have already created.

I use firealpaca on a pretty low-end laptop and it generally works well.
