If only. They never return my stuff so I don't borrow it anymore.

The satisfying feeling of your teeth sinking into it. I've ruined so many pencils. Once I was allowed to use pens in middle school I stopped doing it.

How i use the pencil is pic anon? Saved pennies there.

is this actually true? is that why my pencils are acting up? (the difference is negligible though, but still noticeable.)

The darker the lead, the softer it is which also makes it more prone to breaking. If you drop them, or throw them around, or play around with them and bend them, the lead inside breaks. Which can be very annoying when sharpening and using the pencil.

Oh god. Reminded me how I should probably read up more on erasers, so far I've just used whatever isn't completely terrible.

i bet you stick your pencil into the handle
then a reverse google search yielded this
https://www.pinterest.fr/papernery/papernery/
apparently theyre called Peanpole Pencil holders

a sturdy metal pope with some shit stuffed into it would probably work too

All my pencils are mechanical.

That said, I'd be really fucked off if rather than just using up the lead they'd broken the entire mechanism and ruined it.

In high school i got into the habit of keeping pencils on me that i didn't like so if someone was about to get into trouble for not having one i could help.

i like never lent art supplies out after a girl destroyed my prismacolor pencils by just pressing down as hard as possible to color it in so by thetime she was done the pencil was gone.
