I have this tendency to wipe out everything I post on the internet every couple of months. I was able to gain 600 followers in 3 months on a certain site before wiping everything out. I've done this multiple times in the past. I see all of my old art and one my eye level catches up and I begin to see the flaws, I just get this certain urge to delete it all. How do I get over this?

dont be retarded.Your pictures are obviously worse months ago. That's the point.Just get over this dumb shit and rather focus on your art right now than on your old art

When ever an artists removes drawings that I didn't save and can't see anymore I get fucking pissed

besides I like a lot of those drawings in the thumbnail you draw really cute faces and you're pretty good at making form feel like its there.

This serves to only alienate and frustrate people who like your work.
If you keep doing it, people will stop bothering to come back.

same. i think the solution is to only post stuff you're really confident in, update regularily and keep in mind that it's a good thing if the older pics in your archive/ gallery start to look crappy to you, as it means you're improving

Same, but i just delete my previous works. I cant even look at them, so i have no choice but delete, though i resiste the urge to delete everything and leave some works that i dont like anyways. I keep my instagram account for example with 15 works, even though im constantly deleting things. Each piece i upload, some other dies.

A curiosity for those who say that followers will be sad for deleting the account.

Do you really believe that someone cares?
I have more than 600 followers and I think if I delete everything, no one would notice or would care.
Most will be bots or followerxfollower or follower who like your things the time of a like if they do not find your art they leave the like to another artist and you do not change anything in their life.

So it's not a tragedy delete an account.

Here is a better question: Who gives a shit what your followers think if it doesn't benefit you in any shape or form?

That's interesting, I'd say some of my followers would care. Probably because I'm part of a somewhat niche community, but I still find it weird for so many people to follow you (bots aside) and just not care if you disappear at the drop of a hat.

This is one of the oldest, most embarrassing things on my gallery. It's from when I was in college and just beginning to learn digital art.

It's badly done, it's creepy, it's off-putting, it's unpleasant to look at, it's 14 years old, and I hate it, and it's still in my gallery for all to see.

Quit being such a sissy.

Many blogs I follow, I wouldn't notice if they were gone. A good handful, I'd be really upset if they suddenly disappeared. Everyone has their favourites, and if you have 600 followers I guarantee you're someone's favourite.
