What skill level are you trying to reach before you'll be satisfied? Got any picture examples of your goals? Mine is pic-related but I am stuck on the stupid boring stuff like anatomy & shapes for now.

I have an artist I admire. He draws like shit. Tumblr level at best. Really bad skillwise. But I want to be like him. Because he consistently draws the best fetish porn. It's not the technique. It's the way he makes people wait for his name to show up on the feed. The way he makes me think "if he posted something new, I'm fapping tonight." If I can make someone feel for me what I feel for him I think I'll have peaked in my art life.

You can learn to do that in a day anon, but the clothes she wears will vary, and to do it in a variety of poses would require a month. But you can draw that right there today.

Do some measurements of the picture and notice how the eyes begin halfway at the head. and how the hairline (for where the hair begins) is slightly below the top of the actual hair.

Her head? You can literally just use your picture as an example and measure the distance between the eyes from each other to get a gist of how to position other parts like eyebrows, mouth, nose, blush. The chin is just an extra ellipse. The hair can easily be swapped out with a variety of hair styles. She's like 2 heads tall and has no neck, she has no hands either. It's really basic. Post your examples of trying to draw that.

Roger is an interesting guy, I had a chance to meet him when he did a gallery show where I lived, and used some connections I have to get VIP. Sweet guy, really nice. I talked to him about art, and his education, and he said he went to college for furniture design, and got into rock art accidently, and designed to pursue it full time later on. He never studied art formally. He's just got an amazing imagination, that led him down the path he took. He showed me an early painting he did that caused problems reproducing it, because he'd mixed automotive paint with oils for the background, and had used a metallic gold spraypaint that didn't photograph right, he didn't know what was "proper" for painting and just used whatever he had on hand.

You can just take pictures of similar areas and run a filter over them. That's how Katawa Shoujo did most of the backgrounds. Character art probably isn't too bad. You could just do manga studies over and over. The hard part is CGs, since you can't really cheat with them, but that's okay because you can half ass them and nobody will notice. Pic related.

It's kind of torture, but not any specific kind of torture, could be any thing with or without bondage etc. It's the creativity and originally put on torturing that sets him apart from other artists. Not the technique, not the fetish tags, just the fact you know whatever he draws is going to be something you haven't seen before. It sounds simple at first, but in the internet most porn pics fetish or not look like something you have seen before. >I'll never be anything close to this, but it's just too good not to mention.
just one train of thought on that: the painting by hirschl was done hundred years ago. today, we are bombarded with visual stimuli: tablets, flashing advertisements, tv, internet, easy cheap reproductions of any works- photos and fine art, digital screens and their attention-whoring animations everywhere, in shopping malls, on public transport, in hospitals.
i think it was easier back than to take your time, up to a whole year to finish a painting. the pace of everyday life was slower, more calm than today. "high art" like that of Hirsch is hardly possible today, because young painting students don't have the facility, like anyone else, to concentrate and dedicate their time to such a huge work, using real models, working thoughfully in layers, arranging things in the picture perfectly etc. it's an actual painting.

I see what you mean.
I'm a prime example of this, I have little patients.
I did a water colour painting a couple weeks a go. Spent a fair bit of time getting the composition down but I havent done much water colour painting and did it in a couple hours. I may try it again but paint it over a course of a few days.
Thanks for the insight.

I really want to get something similar how the closing arguments look in Danganronpa.
I like it's stylized and how expressive it is.
The panel pacing is a little weak because of how these comics are just a minigame, but still.
