Not exactly, I still enjoy some of the artists I adored then, since they have more than skill to offer. Interesting ideas are always interesting. I tend to think of them more as friends as I get better despite having no interaction with them.

I know that feel way too well, every now and then I look back to artists that I used to admire and realize how much I've outgrown them. The "wow" factor might be gone but think about this, these were the guys that sparked your fire and laid the foundation for what it is to come. If you ever make it too who knows, maybe you too will inspire someone and will get surpased.
