besides studying basics of human and animal anatomy, look up blacksad.

it's probably the best drawn furries you are ever going to get. (pic related) guarnido is legitimately an extremely skilled artist (one of the best i have seen in western comics) so you can probably learn a lot from him anyway.

yeah artist is also pretty skilled painter.

his expressions/storytelling are wonderful too. (píc related) i actually recommend blacksad in general if you like comics, it's worth it for the art alone. don't dismiss it because lolfurries, i thought the same thing before going into it but ended up really digging it.

Point is if you cant draw a simple block shape like a truck/semi, you'll have trouble with a living animal.

Best advice I can give, go to HobbyLobby, Michaels, or whatever craft store and look where they have the little animal figures. Find one that looks anatomically correct and use that for future reference. It will help immensely to have a 3d figure that you can compare to.

well your painting is decent, and you're not as bad as I was originally imagining but please learn properly anyway don't half ass and be like those commissiners that will straight up in stream say " I don't know how to draw x" while the person who commissioned you is in stream yet still willing to give you money

also draw more stuff like that boswer pic (really learn how to draw a good hole)
