To be fair, NMA is retardedly overlapping its own courses, it’s like they don’t communicate at all, or just don’t give a shit and see it as more “content” to sell.
It’s an academy and more a collection of the same exact fucking basic courses thought by different teachers, occasionally with some of them going full autismo with their specialty, which are the only worthwhile courses.

I feel like that's the issue.
People join art discord servers then complain about not having money and demand 30 second tutorial and guides that will teach them everything. They refuse to read books and refuse to watch long and in depth guides on youtube.

Their courses are good and you know it despite different teachers explaining the same concept (in different ways which is a good thing)

People who are in the NMA discord have a subscription. I don’t think they canceled their sub but still hang around asking for handouts from the teachers, especially for the interactive classes. The /beg/ class has the most activity (like how /ic/ once had /beg/ threads that capped in 2 days) and beyond that all the other classes have little to no posts. At least in my experience, you got to pay to get into paid servers with locked channels.

Anyway, that’s a good thing to be honest. The issue is everywhere and that just means if you’re one of the few that makes it to the end in a course you’re winning.
